TS-30A TS-20A Short Killer PCB Short Circuit Fault Detector Box Fault Diagnosis Instrument for iPhone Repair Tools
Product characteristics:
- Support output voltage 0-5.5v, current 0-20a/30a
- This instrument can detect various short circuits in the circuit
- This instrument can detect and repair a short circuit within a few seconds.
- This instrument can be used to detect short circuit circuits in mobile phones and laptops.
Product advantages:
Short circuit recovery/Overheat protection/Over current protection/Over voltage protection/Voice prompt/Auto recovery/Safe and efficient/Positive and negative polarity recognition
Precautions:
TS-20A current cannot exceed 20A
TS-30A current cannot exceed 30A
Please pay attention to the safety of the test lead probe’s special tip. This test lead can also be used on a multimeter.
There is a high voltage in the instrument. Non-professionals should not open it without authorization. The instrument has a large current output. Long-term short circuit testing is strictly prohibited.
Artifact Usage Instructions:
Note the current after receiving a cell phone. This instrument can handle the following situations
1: power short circuit (use a regulated power supply to power the mobile phone (set the default voltage to connect to the positive and negative poles), and the power meter will sound an alarm at the same time)
2: Press the power button, the large current exceeds 500 mA;
3: small current shakes quickly;
4: It can be clearly known that a short circuit has occurred somewhere in the circuit, but an actual short circuit cannot be found.
5: use other cheaters to explore for yourself.
- Use a multimeter to measure the mobile phone motherboard if the battery contacts are directly short circuit, (the multimeter buzzer will sound and check whether the actual resistance value is 0) you can adjust the voltage to 1v, and press directly the negative pole according to the battery label to the shield. And then use the instrument’s positive pole to touch the positive pin or battery contact on the motherboard. When the artifact sounds, it means that there is an electric shock. If the artifact beeps continuously for 5 times, the artifact should be disconnected, and the resistance of the battery contact part should be measured again. If the resistance becomes greater, try increasing the voltage.
- If you use a multimeter to measure the battery contacts and there is no direct short circuit, you should measure around the power ic to find the short circuit components (the few big capacitors can be found in a few seconds), and then run the electric shock, the method is the same as above.
- If you cannot clearly determine the polarity of the two ends of the capacitor, you can take the following method: first fasten the artifact clip to the motherboard protective cover, and then use the 1V positive voltage to click the two ends of the capacitor, respectively, And remember the voltage value when the bell rings. Note the comparison of voltage values at both ends respectively and the end with the higher voltage is the positive electrode of the capacitor.
- Generally, cell phones that cannot be burned for 5 times should be observed for short circuits caused by man-made situations, such as sunken shields, man-made short circuits, and wounds on the edge of the motherboard.
- If the cell phone cannot be boiled for many times, you can use loose cigarette fumigation to help. After finding the heating element and removing it, test for the short circuit condition.
